Q&A

  • Q: As one of Buenos Aires’ largest parks, does Plaza San Martín have free activities?
  • A: Many locals gather at Plaza San Martín, but don't count on organized activities. Instead, think of casual pick up soccer games, picnics, and the like. As one of the central points in the city, the park has played host to a series of free exhibits. In 2009, the park hosted the United Buddy Bears exhibit, an international arts exhibit originating in Berlin and featuring over 350 fiber glass bears. The newspaper Clarin also hosted a large scale journalistic photo exhibit in the park.
